What is Bushilord?
Bushilord is a multi-media collaborative project between Gainax, Takara Toys, Broccoli, and Nitroplus, a bunch of Japanese media companies. In the works are Bushilord toys, manga, anime, novels, and video games-- sorta like what they did with .hack//SIGN.

When will it come out?
Hopefully 2006. It was scheduled for 2005 but was delayed by the sudden death of Yoshida Sunao, the novelist behind Trinity Blood and the "world designer" for Bushilord. An OVA was planned by Gainax, directed by Hiroyuki Yamaga (director of Honneamise, Abenobashi), but it is now unclear what form Bushilord will eventually take: OVA or TV show.

Plot
"A meteor crashes into the earth in 2026, causing much destruction, with the resulting dust etc in the atmosphere blocking out the sun and causing an ice age. The decimated human survivors fight over the inhabitable land which remains. The story takes place 500 years in the future, during an age of civil war. Involves mecha."

What does Nepuu Kairiku Bushilord mean?
Apparently, "Burning Wind Ocean Earth Samurai Lord."
